Season 1: GRIN Storm Rising
Episode 1: The Problem With Yeast (2030) Populations are growing exponentially, and resources are dwindling. Rebel strongholds evade detection, but a new Commander exposes their network and systematically hunts them down. After careful planning, Special Forces close on a key rebel encampment but get an unpleasant surprise. The SF Commander arrives but is confused by a military shakeup.
Episode 2: Slice and Dicers (2022) GRIN technologies become the foundational platform responsible for the advancement of Trans-human research and development; it is the ‘Holy Grail’ of human transition, from species homo Sapiens to homo Deus. Nano Science presents a unique solution to pandemic threats utilizing a controversial concept labeled Lancet Inoculation Prophylaxis System (LIPS).
Episode 3: Wolves In Sheep Clothing (2023) Military establishments are outraged when it was decided Lancet technologies should remain in the public domain and controlled by civilian governments. The Pentagon plots to infiltrate the program with a recently promoted Lt. Colonel and his hand-picked team. Their mission is to breech security and sabotage LIPS operational protocols, while posing as trainees.
Episode 4: LIPS Service (2023) The LIPS project generates disturbing social questions which fuel a series of political lawsuits that are quietly pushed aside as governments race to initiate mass-inoculation programs. Despite public objections, LIPS becomes mandatory in many countries. This creates an exponential demand for trade schools and simulators to train pilots and medical specialists.
Episode 5: ‘CRISPR-CON’ (2024) As LIPS graduates fill the pipeline, demand increases exponentially. Entrepreneurs seize the opportunity by sponsoring highly publicized Lancet crew promotional extravaganzas. The shows digress into a lucrative payola scam, fed by privately funded head hunter foundations, thus allowing their patrons to secretly contract crews yet avoid competitive bidding wars.
Episode 6: The Plagues of March (2025) Crew contractors, fed by the payola scam, continue to divert valuable talent towards wealthy clientele, who are demanding frivolous cosmetic reconstructions, and non-essential medical procedures. This creates a vacuum of qualified crews able to respond to simultaneous pandemic outbreaks in Africa and India. The original purpose and mission of LIPS starts unraveling.
Episode 7: Raiders of The Ring, part 1 (2026) Qualified Lancet crews become the equivalent of medical mercenaries for the privileged few. The Lt. Colonel learns about a conspiracy network within the government, which is secretly diverting vast sums of public money towards a project utilizing GRIN enhancements to produce super-humans. He penetrates ‘The Ring’ and feeds invaluable information to the Pentagon.
Episode 8: Raiders of The Ring, part 2 (2027) The Lt. Colonel is promoted to SF Commander and returns to base with his team. He secretly conceives a rogue black ops mission, combining Lancet technologies with military grade swarm-bots and slaughter-bot weapons to conduct a vigilante strike against members of The Ring. A DOA investigation ensues, but the government is able to maintain its veil of secrecy.
Episode 9: Dog Days of Slaughter (2028) The humanitarian dream of the Lancet mission crumbles as populations rebel against further inoculation programs. World governments are held responsible. No longer able to control their constituents effectively, they impose martial law. Whole societies revert to ‘Dark Age’ living conditions. A strong-survive, weak-perish attitude pervades with the rise of mob bosses.
Episode 10: The Sky Is Falling! (2028) Nefarious leaders struggle to control critical resources while launching vicious territorial raids. The Commander attempts to maintain civil order but is publicly condemned after launching ruthless counter-strikes against mob bosses. Panic ensues with the discovery, and public announcement, of an asteroid on a collision path with earth…doomsday prophesies abound.
